Nike X NOCTA: the urban night-time sneaker
Launched at the end of 2020, the Nike x NOCTA line marks a turning point in the history of collaborations between artists and streetwearproducts. Thought out by the global rap artist Drake, the collection draws on the world of the street and of the night. NOCTA refers to “nocturnal”. The idea is to stand for a sneaker for those who lead a roaming lifestyle, between shadow and light. By working on new silhouettes but also on already existing models such as the Nike Air Force 1, Nike & NOCTA make sure to reach both the fans of new creations and the fans of timeless sneakers.
Nike Hot Step: a signature sneaker
In 2022, the brand Nike and the artist Drake launched the first sneaker of the collection, the Nike NOCTA Hot Step Air Terra. Designed to combine performance and style, the silhouette aims to be futuristic and quickly becomes a cult piece. Its Triple Blackcolourway, in an intense black, imposes a restrained and powerful design, recalling the pairs worn at night in the great capitals. Fitted with an Air sole, with premium leather and with reflective details, the silhouette ensures optimal comfort and cushioning for everyday use.
Nike Hot Step 2: a new, more exclusive version
In 2024, Nike unveiled a new version of its original silhouette, the Nike NOCTA Hot Step Air Terra 2, in a White Chromecolourway, brighter and more elegant. Designed to pair with the NOCTA streetwear range, it confirms the status of the collaboration as a line in its own right within the Nikeecosystem.
NOCTA: a streetwear uniform
With the Nike x NOCTA collaboration, Drake is not only seeking to put his signature on a sneaker. He is imagining a strong visual identity, a uniform dedicated to those who move, create and travel.
