The story of the sneakers Adidas Campus
Born in 1980, the Adidas Campus was originally designed as a reworked version of the basketball Adidas Tournament sneaker. However, it was not in the sports world that it gained its reputation, but rather on the hip-hop scene and in streetwear culture, which propelled it to the forefront. In fact, the pair was adopted by the group Beastie Boy, who made it their signature sneaker, even wearing it on the cover of their cult album “Check your head” in 1992. The Adidas Campus 00 features a supple suede upper and the iconic three leather stripes on the side, a simple and elegant design that has led to many colorways.
