Casablanca
Casablanca : casual French luxury
Casablanca is not a luxury brand like any other. Casablanca is a contemporary fashion house founded in 2018 by French-Moroccan designer Charaf Tajer. Before launching Casablanca, Tajer had already cut his teeth in the world of streetwear by co-founding the Parisian brand Pigalle alongside Stéphane Ashpool. The goal of Casablanca is to merge the elegance of high-end ready-to-wear with the comfort of sportswear, while offering colorful and sunny pieces accessible to an international audience.
The Casablanca clothes quickly seduced many celebrities and were seen worn by personalities like A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, Booba, Koba LaD, Achraf Hakimi and Fally Ipupa. In 2020, the Casablanca brand was named a finalist for the prestigious LVMH prize, confirming its status as a rising house in the French luxury landscape.
To go further with its brand, Charaf Tajer set up a notable collaboration between Casablanca and New Balance, giving rise to several models of sneakers iconic like the 327 and the XC-72, available in colors inspired by its Moroccan heritage.
The best pieces Casablanca
The key word of Casablanca is relaxed elegance. Through its collections, the Casablanca house offers clothes with vibrant prints in shades ranging from coral to emerald, off-white and solarorange . Among the brand's best sellers , we can undoubtedly cite the silk shirt Casablanca. This shirt features exclusive patterns inspired by travel and the Mediterranean, becoming a true symbol of the brand. We can also mention the terrycloth tracksuit and the colored linen suit, two classic pieces which take up the sportswear-chic DNA specific to Casablanca.
The Casablanca pieces have the particularity of being able to be worn both in a casual context and on a more dressy occasion thanks to their refined look. The Casablanca clothes therefore go perfectly with a pair of New Balance, by Nike or even luxury sneakers type Common Projects.
In the style of a Jacquemus or even the house AMI Paris, Casablanca, driven by the vision of Charaf Tajer, has made a name for itself in less than ten years in fashion culture and sneakers on a global scale.
