Nike x Jacquemus collaboration
The Jacquemus X Nike collaboration: when the most technical models meet the elegance of the catwalk.
The young prodigy of French fashion Jacquemus draws his inspiration from his Mediterranean roots to create minimalist pieces with clean lines. The recipe for his success? A blend of resolutely technical pieces and his attachment to tradition and to noble materials. That pairing of modernity and refinement carries over, of course, into his collaborations with the brand Nike.
Air Humara Nike Jacquemus
Here nothing is left to chance: from the midsole wrapped in synthetic suede to the oversized lace tips, by way of the bold Swoosh in metal , every detail of this has been worked with precision. So much so that it can equally sit in the men's sneakerssection. The designer has kept the technical features of the Air Humara, a pair originally designed for the trail, keeping the Air cushioning at the heel and the forefoot, giving the impression of walking on a cloud. An on-trend silhouette par excellence, it comes in three colourways that recur in the world of Simon Porte Jacquemus: Beige, Brown and Pink.
Air Force 1 Jacquemus, aka J Force 1
A timeless model, the Nike Air Force 1 has also been reworked by Simon Porte Jacquemus. The designer transformed this iconic pair by merging it with another of his favourite models: the Nike ACG Terra. The result: a minimalist pair with outdoor accents, thought out and built as a city shoe.
Offered in two colourways, White and Black, the Nike JF1 carries an upper in smooth leather and mesh paired with braiding on the sole and a waffle outsole. The silver metal lace tags carry the wording “ JF1 ”. As on the Air Humara, you find the signature of this collaboration: a metal swoosh of the utmost discretion. Jacquemus himself advises pairing this shoe with his suits and summer dresses.
