ESSENTIALS SET: THE FULL LOOK SIGNED FEAR OF GOD
Designed by Jerry Lorenzo for his label Fear of God, the Essentials set — the famous “Full Set” — brings together in one move the key pieces of the Essentials Fear of Godline. THE HOODIE AND JOGGERS FULL SET, THE SIGNATURE FORMULA
The historic Full Set pairs the hooded sweatshirt with its matching joggers. Same thick brushed cotton, same “Essentials Fear of God” logo — on the chest of the sweatshirt, on the thigh of the trousers — and that slightly oversized Relaxed cut — also available in a Classic fit — that made the reputation of the Essentials sweatshirts. Elasticated drawstring waist (the house “elastic waist”), gathered ankles, lined hood: the comfort of a tracksuit with the presence of a designer piece. The Essentials joggers and their sweatshirt form the signature duo of the contemporary streetwear wardrobe.
SHORTS AND T-SHIRT SET: THE SUMMER VERSION
Less well known, the Full Set also exists in a summer version: the short-sleeved tee and its matching shorts, cut from the same heavy cotton jersey. The Essentials shorts take up the loose cut above the knee, the Essentials T-Shirt its ribbed crew neck — a collar that keeps its shape wash after wash — and for mid-season, some sets come with a long-sleeved tee, while others pair long sleeves with shorts. Enough to wear the full Essentials look all year round, from the first rays of sun to cooler days.
THE COLOURS OF THE ESSENTIALS SET
