Shoes are making a strong comeback in the streetwear landscape. City shoes are gradually taking their place on the runways and in the street, on the feet of sneakerheads. Clarks fits that trend, having carved out a prime place in both women's sneakers and men's sneakers, thanks in particular to collaborations with highly sought-after labels such as Supreme and Kith.
The story of the Clarks brand
Clarks was founded in 1825 in England by brothers Cyrus and James Clark. The adventure began with the making of sheepskin slippers with an innovative stitch that made the shoes more flexible and comfortable than others of the day. In 1883 the brand met real success with the launch of theBrown Petersburg, a shoe that adapts to the natural shape of the foot and would set the brand's focus on comfort.
Comfort and quality remained the watchwords of the new models the brand developed, notably through one of its most emblematic designs, theDesert Boot, a shoe where elegance meets comfort. A model designed by a member of the founding family, Nathan Clark.

The result is a unique pair marrying the recognisable Samba upper with the crepe sole that is Clarks' signature. This collaboration, a modern and bold reading of the cult Samba, took more than a year and a half to design.
