In 2019, Jordan Brand entrusted the Air Jordan 1, its most iconic model, to Travis Scott after the release of the album Astroworld. The result goes well beyond one more collaboration on the Air Jordan 1 : Travis Scott turns the Swoosh around. Nobody had dared touch the most recognisable logo at Nike before him. Unveiled at the Grammy Awards then released in tiny numbers, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Travis Scott sold out in minutes and settled straight away on the resale market at levels reserved for the greatest grails.
Since then, the scenario repeats at every drop: Jordan & Travis tease on social media, raffle, sell-out, resale prices take off. That is what sets the Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott apart from other Jumpman collaborations: where a collab usually runs out after one model, the one by La Flame has held for seven years and some fifteen colourways, without ever diluting its signature.
THE REVERSED SWOOSH AND THE CACTUS JACK CODES
The reversed swoosh is the trademark, but it is not alone. On the side panel, the tick runs upside down towards the midsole, offset from the one on the inner side — a deliberately asymmetrical piece of construction. The tongue carries the Cactus Jackbranding, named after the Texan's label, while the Wings logo and the Nike Air come in contrasting shades. On the original High, two smileys are embroidered at the heel.
Then there is the detail collectors look out for: the pocket hidden in the lining, designed to hold the spare laces. The pairs come in a special box with several sets of laces, and some versions — the Olive in particular — go as far as a motorsport-inspired insole. Premium leather, suede and nubuck make up most of the uppers.
FROM THE AJ1 RETRO HIGH TO THE AJ1 LOW, TWO VERSIONS OF THE SAME SILHOUETTE
The collab is written across two heights. The Air Jordan 1 High opens the run in 2019 and remains the most iconic version: high upper, wrapping collar, maximum presence. A few months later, in July 2019, the first Air Jordan 1 Low Travis Scott arrived in Europe by surprise with its black base and its brown panels, a classic Travis Scott colour code.
It is this low cut that has since taken over in volume: the Air Jordan 1 Low today holds most of the versions signed by the rapper. Lighter and easier to wear day to day, it goes on where the High asks for an outfit built around it.
THE COLOURWAYS THAT MADE THE LEGEND
The Reverse Mocha from 2022 is the one that took the collab into another dimension: it inverts the colour layout of the 2019 Low, with a mocha brown taking over a sail base and an aged midsole. The Black Phantom plays the opposite exercise, all in shades of black, leather against nubuck, without a single colour accent. A bold choice.
Between the two, the Medium Olive and the women's Olive bring khaki onto an AJ1, a shade already cult on the silhouette, while the Velvet Brown pushes chocolate nubuck and the Canary goes for yellow. In a class of its own, the Fragment brings Hiroshi Fujiwara into the game with a triple collaboration at the peak of the hype: white base, black panels, military blue inherited from the Fragment of 2014. A triple signature that makes it the most prized piece in the whole Nike x Travis Scottrange.
THE PINK PACK, THE RETURN OF TRAVIS IN 2026
Seven years after the first pair, the collaboration still surprises. Released at the end of May 2026, the Pink Pack takes the Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott out of its earthy palette with two opposing proposals. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Travis Scott Shy Pink works a powder pink on leather, softened by a reversed swoosh and cream laces. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Travis Scott Tropical Pink turns up the saturation a notch and owns the sharp contrast with white. Enough to satisfy a new audience without letting go of what made the pair a success.
Same base, same construction, two intentions: one blends into an outfit, the other builds it. As always on this collab, quantities are limited and the raffle remains the only way in at retail.

The Air Jordan 1 Travis Scott fits like a classic Air Jordan 1: take your usual size. The collar of the Retro High is slightly tighter, which can justify half a size up for wide feet.
